Ayurveda: What is it?

Ayurveda is a sanskrit word that translates to “science of life”.
It is considered one of the oldest healing systems that uses an holistic approach to promote good health and prevent disease.

The role of Ayurveda is to create balance in the body and mind so that a person can connect more deeply with their soul. As an Ayurvedic Health and Life coach, my mission is to achieve optimal health and well-being through diet, lifestyle and herbal remedies.

Rooted in the idea that each individual is unique, Ayurveda offers personalized recommendations for diet, lifestyle, and herbal remedies based on one’s body type or “dosha”.

By understanding the balance between these dosas; Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, Ayurveda aims to prevent illness, improve vitality, and enhance overall harmony with nature and others.

So, it is my role as your coach to set you up for success.
We will explore various ways to keep your mind clear and your body relaxed to maintain balance to promote overall well-being.

  • The mind plays a crucial role in maintaining health and balance, as it influences both your physical and mental health. Our self-awareness of our mood and emotional state can be enhanced by making healthy lifestyle choices to keep our “dosas” from imbalances.
